The first and only optimized high-performance textile system, Crypton Green is invented and produced in the USA, and is the only performance fabric that can claim certifications from Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), and Environmental Choice Australia (ECA.) Crypton Green is also the only one that offers a truly responsible solution that exceeds industry standards for indoor air quality and optimized materials.

The Difference is in the Fiber

Crypton began using advanced C6 chemistry and Silver Ion microbial protection with the introduction of Crypton Green. Our company is now committed to creating all formulations with the greenest possible options including that deliver the performance you count on. So, now when you see Crypton Green, the difference is that the fabric’s content is one of the following options:

   • 50-100% recycled fiber

   • Heavy-metal-free polyester

   • Wool with heavy-metal-free dyes

   • Polypropylene
While Crypton Green is a significant advancement, our journey will never end. Crypton is committed to a leadership role in the use of green materials, processes, and practices. Shortly after developing Crypton Green formulations we implemented the technology across all Crypton fabrics. Crypton and Crypton Green are more similar than ever, but a few differences remain, including:
1. Crypton Green production is powered by renewable energy (via renewable energy credits) and is carbon-neutral (with verifiable emission reductions)
2. Crypton Green consists of select fiber types.
